Post Event

Thank you for joining us for the BioPharma in Ohio III: Fighting Chronic Disease with Innovation & Products from Ohio conference on May 7. More than 140 guests attended and participated in this half-day forum. We would like to extend special thanks to our local and national partners who helped make the event a success.

The conference brought together representatives from voluntary health associations, patient and disease groups, academic, business, research, public policy and government sectors to discuss the innovative products contributing to the fight against chronic diseases. Our keynote speaker Dr. Kenneth Thorpe, executive director, Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease and our panels of academic researchers, health care clinicians, leaders from the biopharmaceutical industry and the Lieutenant Governor spoke about the challenges and opportunities facing Ohio. To find out more about the Partnership to Fight Chronic Disease in Ohio, please email Jenny Camper at jcamper@lesiccamper.com or call (614) 224-0658.

All the speakers agreed that the Buckeye State is a leader in the fight against chronic diseases. However, equally important, the conference helped draw attention to the growing need for better public/private partnerships and collaborations to build the state’s bioscience industry.

Also, please take a moment to complete the Event Evaluation.Your honest opinion and feedback will help us make future Biz/Bio events even more successful.

Thank you again for attending the conference. If you would like more information on upcoming Biz/Bio events, please contact me at:
