Marsha Wills-Karp, Ph.D.

Professor of Pediatrics & Director of Immunobiology

Marsha Wills-Karp, Ph.D. is the Professor of Pediatrics and Director of the Division of Immunobiology at Children's Hospital Medical Center, one of the nation's leading pediatric research and teaching institutions. In April 2007, U.S. News & World Report ranked the Department of Pediatrics at Cincinnati Children's and the University of Cincinnati Medical Center the third best pediatric program at a medical school in the United States.

Prior to her current position, she was the Director of the Immunobiology Graduate Program at the University of Cincinnati College of Medicine. Dr. Will-Karp has also held positions at Johns Hopkins University.

She has won numerous awards and honors for her work and has authored more than 30 publications, mostly focused on asthma.

Dr. Wills-Karp received a B.S. and M.S. in Biology from Southwest Texas State University; a Ph.D. from the University of California, Santa Barbara; a Postdoctoral Fellow from Yale University; and a Postdoctoral Fellow from Johns Hopkins University.
